Default W/E PvE skill help

Hey all,

I just recently changed my second prof to Ele..

I am currently a sword swinging warrior..
attributes - 10water 10str 11swrd 10tactics

skills
Berserker Stance
Pure Strike
Water Trident
Blurred Vision
Armor of Frost
Watch your self
Bonetis defense
Res Sig

Im enjoying this build but I feel it can be so much more.. I went ele to be more offensive and definsive.. still looking for a icy sword hilt - is conjure element good for a warrior? think conjure element and axe AE swing would be good? just looking for some ideas to better me self

many thanks in advance

Yeah if you get conjure, definitely switch to axe for cyclone. I don't know about blurred vision in that build though, it's mana intensive and you'll need enough mana for conjure and armor of frost. Also, why water trident? IMO, there are better elites for a warrior primary to use, especially for axe. I do like the build though, it's original and makes for a nice tank/party support build with watch yourself. However, it feels a little too defensive, at least for yourself. You should be just fine with armor of frost and watch yourself. I'd swap bonetti's for another party-help shout like shields up to give your teammates more defense and make them live longer.

8( blurred vision is the skill that decided water for my ele build hehe... ok so Im def gonna go axe when I find one that is heeh.. Ill prolly take out blurred for conjure and pure strick for cyclone.. and I will have to find a new elite skill now. and a skill to replace bonetis since i wont need the energy as bad since no blurred vision..

question does conjure element work for bows?

so final would look sometin like this
Berserkers Stance
Conjure Ice
Cyclone Axe
Armor of Frost
Watch your self
(some adrenaline axe move)
Berserker's Rage
Res Sig

thanks ElderAtronach

I think conjure elements will work with bows. I mean it works with wands so why not?

Is the berserker's rage you mentioned battle rage?

Water trident was a good one. For some later missions, you'll need to add something like ice spikes so you can help the nukes damage enemies that you won't get a clear shot at (IMO even warriors need one good ranged option, espically W/Es). Overall, I guess that's an okay build. Not sure if I'd use it though.

ya battle rage the one 25% move faster and gain extra adrenaline.. since conjure works for bows id be better off finding a short bow and add get a ice string and just let conjure do the work for range fights..

I dont know if I like battle rage.. ehh just havnt seen to many other options out there..

If you are a W/E it'd be better if you used a staff or wand since their requirements would match up with your skills. At 10 water, you should be able to get a staff/wand that does 11-22, I don't see you getting a bow that does that.

Hmm...
I wouldn't use beserkers stance and battle Rage, they do close to the same things and they both end if you try something. Since you've only got two ADE skills, I wouldn't use either really.

Leaves you with:
1. Cyclone axe
2. (axe ade attack) maybe Penetrating blow?
3. Conjure Ice
4. Armor of Frost
5. Watch Yourself
6. Res Sig
7.
8.

Are you dead set on using axes? Another option might work out, like hundred blades for group attacking. I think hammers has an elite group knockdown which might be better than doing a little damage to everyone.

I'd also worry about taking down one foe quickly unless you want to go for more of a PBAoE nuker option. I'm not sure what to suggest with those other two slots either. Defy pain or ice trident if you want an elite. Flurry if you want to speed up your attack speed... If you had a pair of condition dealers I'd suggest victory is mine. Or you could use healing signet to use after watch yourself.

Hope some of this helps.

lol I didnt even think about a wand or staff hehe.. I will have to find a decent wand..

I only thought of axe for the conjure ice from Ele.. I like berserkers stance for the haste effect also it builds up a ade move fast basically id buff up then hit berserks and get a 10 sec energy gain..

basically with this build I want to be able to do moderate damage and let the monk focus on one less person me.. I may go hammer now that I think of it that would better protect me from taking damage.. (I still dont like the axe pfft..)

So my skills for hammer would be

Berserkers Stance
Conjure Ice
Armor of Frost
Wath Yourself
Res Sig
Earth Shaker
Crude Swing
open - maybe boneties

thanks again for your help.. I havnt used a hammer before are earth shaker and crude swing any good?
